Re: Euro lights Set-Up-- Low Beams vs. Hi Beams

Maybe you could shed some 'light' on this subject:

I have the Euro lights installed on my 5KCSTQ. I purchased them from 2
Bennet-- with the relays and wiring harness to make it simple. Here's the
thing--

There are 3 options: 1./ city lights, 2. low beams. and 3. high beams.

The way I have it set up, there are no longer any front parking lights --
they have been replaced with the city lights (H3 bulb, very dim).

The low beams are extremely low-- and this is what I'm a little miffed
about. The lows come on (in my case) and they just appear to be regular
low beams.

Now-- on the 'high beams 'side-- they're fantastic! The H4s kick in -- and
the combo of the high beam and the 'used to be orange' parking lights are
replaced with the h4s- making everything very visible.

My questions are:

1. Do I have these hooked up right?

2. Are the lows supposed to be 'normal' like this -- or are they supposed
to be as bright as normal high beams?

3. Are the old parking lights supposed to come on with the lows as well as
the highs? When I have the lows on- light only comes from the headlights--
not the parking lights like they do on the high beams

4. Should I get brighter (100 watt) bulbs- or do they burn out constantly
like I've heard?

5. Should I have had them installed from the alternator because of the
wattage difference vs. the jump-start battery connections.

5. Does this set up seem normal to everyone else who has these lights?

Given the fact that I just spent $1,000 to get these babies in-- I want
them to be as kick-ass bright as humanly possible. The high beams are very
bright, but I'm a little confused as to why the lows aren't comparable.

TIA to anyone who responds.
