Yup, just for "regular crimps and things." I got an el-cheapo, no-name,
Taiwan-made criper, $15 if I recall. I usually have a b!tch of a time
trying to make it work. It makes crimps looks like tight "C" instead of
proper one that would look like "B" (the crimp would fold into itself and
hold the wires tight). I don't crimp often, so I wasn't able to justify
plunging $$$ into a proper crimper.
Same for caliper ($22) and multimeter (Radio Crack $10). (^:
