in a .3ft^3 sealed enclosure. Similar specs for the JL Audio 8W6
(.25-.375 ft^3 sealed, .5-.625ft^3 ported). These are some of my favorite
mainstream subs.
There is always a war raging on rec.audio.car (RAC) about how small sealed
enclosures don't do any good things for sound reproduction of these
drivers, so I'm not saying that these will sound awesome, just that they
are manufacturer's specs.
I'm no expert, that's for sure. But my single JL 12" sub in a 1.5ft^3
sealed enclosure sounds just dandy. I'd like to shrink the size of the
enclosure down to fit it in the corner space in my 4kq, but that would
mean actually getting some free time.
