Re: Breaks in brakes

Hey guys,
why in the hell would you want to lock up the brakes at any speed?
This right here is the absolute reason for going to an upgraded system. If you can lock
the brakes at any speed, you have nowhere near enough modulation. Once that rotor is
locked, you're not doing any braking whatsoever. You now are relying on how well that tire
sheds it's skin. By using a caliper and rotor combo that allows you to apply ALL of the
caliper's clamping force to the rotor without lockup you will be able to slow the car
faster.
