s'pozedly there are a number of '99 (as opposed to '99.5) A4's around that
are going for decent discounts.  if you can live without the minor
improvements you ought to be able to find a 1.8T Q with all the goodies for
not too much more money...  i wouldn't make a decision based solely on what's
on the local dealers lot - and if you can find another car in the region your
local dealer will probably be willing to get it and sell it to you anyway.
when i bought my 4kq a Virginia dealer swapped a car down from Penn. so that
I could get the color and options I wanted.
