This is still (thankfully) state specific, i.e. depends on which 2 states.
AFAIK (Vermont resident, at least for a few more months), Vermont still
doesn't have reciprocity with anybody.  I have had tix in NY, NH, and MA -
all the neighboring states - and no points crossed the border.  You're
probably in luck...
