RE: Black-out badging



If I have to eat some crow I might as well do it big.  Looks like I was
wrong and my gold badged Audi 200TQ is a dealer installed/applied option.  I
can at least say that I have seen four similarly badged 200s.  As Phil
points out, the ETKA shows only bright chrome. ... I was wrong...
....
Sorry I was speechless for a moment there.  I still like the way it looks on
the Pearl.

Nuff said, I'm gonna go sulk for a while.

Our neighbour bought a Lexus with gold-coloured signs.  He called us
around to see it before he had them changed.

As far as I can see, 5000/200 badging is all '2ZZ' - bright chrome.
Audi doesn't list any gold options.
