Re: 1987 4KQ fuel pump relay?




	Found the prob. ECU to intake manifold ground. Huw Powell had 
mentioned this early on, but I was mistakenly refering to the chassis to 
engine ground when I said I'd already covered that... Anyhow, I checked the 
voltage between pins 1&2, looking for +12 volts and got less than +3 volts. 
Then I figured out where the ground was located, removed it, cleaned the 
oxidation with a file, wire brushed the intake and stud, replaced it all and 
fired up the little puppy-mother.
	Now I know it needs front strut cartridges, some brake work, and a 
few other little things. But basically a pretty good little driver. Seems to 
be much faster than my daughter's '84 4KQ. Got to get it cleaned up and ready 
to go to a new home.
