RE: New Audi TT
Congrats indeed!
While in San Francisco last week I got to check out a new TT in person.
Fellow q-lister Rick Zehr was gracious enough to take my girlfriend and I on
a drive up the coast in his CQ. We stopped by Sonnen Audi to get a closer
look.
The sales rep took us to an underground garage where a brand new silver TT
was awaiting final prep for delivery - already sold of course. Like many
things automotive, pictures just don't do it justice. The car is very
unique, inside and out. Whether you love it or hate it, you have to give
Audi credit for coming up with a fresh design in a sea of cookie-cutter
cars.
Rick isn't crazy about it, my girlfriend said "It looks like a Karman Ghia
for the 90's" (kind of scares me that she knows enough about cars to make
such a comparison,) but I was impressed.

You bastard! We all hate your gutz now, ya know? Congrats!!! I do wish I
had the income to indulge myself in a TT. The closest TT I am going to own
is the one that need AAA batteries...hehehhe
