When I change the oil/work on my turbo diesel, I use a product sold by "Market
America" reps called "Clear Shield". It's a foam that "dries"(wait at least 5
minutes) and dirt/oil washes off with plain soap and water. It also contains
lanolin so it's especially nice to use. How good is it? I'm told that, as a
demo', there was a rep who used to apply Clear Shield, let it 'dry', pour acid
into his hand, keep it there for a few minutes then pour it onto aluminum foil
where it would burn a hole through. *Note, until the stuff completely dries,
your fingers will be a little slippery.*
