New ur-q, KH rebuild, MC swap questions.
Well everyone, I'm lumping this all into one post. Here goes.
First some background. I happen to have two (2) turbo motors in my
garage. ONe KH (with water cooled turbo) and one MC motor. The Kh was
going into 4ktq project. Then I got the MC and decided to put it in. Now
I have a ur-q that I just bought that got wrecked in the front (bought it
cheap) and it needs a new motor. So, the ur-q being the more deserving
car gets the MC while right now the KH is half stripped (head is off) and
being prepped to go into the 4kq.
So, now some questions
>I dont spose you could explain AAN type fitting sizing to mee.

and coolant lines and was wondering this.

the minimum have valve seats re-ground to match valves, and have head
decked. Should I get new Valve guides as well or will the machine shop
tell me if I need these.
Last question. I have a flat face 200 flywheel coming for the MC
motor. I suspect that the timing pin may be different. I think I
remember like 3 degrees in one direction. I assume I can have this pin
moved. will that 3 degree change mess up my balance enough to matter?
Also, KH had an Auto with it. I dont have a KH flywheel but have an MC
flywheel and a ur-q flywheel off the ur-q. The ur-q has a new clutch so I
would like to use its flywheel and clutch. Will I need to change or add a
reference pin to the flywheel to make it work? If so, how do I know
where. Just measure from the timing marks on the flywheel or do I need to
mark something before I take it off the motor??? Also, does the 5ktq
flywheel weigh less than the ur-q unit?
Thanks everyone.
