I don't recall anything ever saying 83 for mine, and I had the original
bill of sale.  I wonder what the legal consequences are of (trying to)
sell a car where the VIN model year doesn't match what is claimed.

What was with the 95.5 S6s... didn't they have a 95 VIN?
