Re: Audi 200 Sport



Hey Dan!
Thanks for the speedy reply  - I actually have a copy of "The Living
Daylights" on VHS(it was a gift honest!)and the 200 Quattro in the early
part of the movie definitely has flared fenders and these are 'rounded'
rather than squared at the rear of the car, like the later US spec cars and
V8's.  Here in the UK, the type 44 always came as per the early spec - non
flared arches etc, but we did get a very small number of V8's, initially
only with Left hand drive.
A number of people have mentioned the 200 Sport to me - it is strange if the
car was a special for the film since the bodyshell looked identical to the
later cars but the movie was made 2 years prior to that model launch.
Perhaps other listers with production information could enlighten us
