Well, I wouldn't consider myself a maniac, but I drove my 510K
miler '84 4000S pretty hard. I was a British and German sports
car owner before I got my 4000, and I drove it like one. Like
I said before, my first engine was rebuilt at 160K (replaced
at 240K), my second replaced (while running strong) at 225K,
and my third is still a whipper snapper. These engines were
never taken apart before replacement.
Don't forget those bullet proof 5-speeds, mine has never left
the car, and I love to double-clutch. Drive 'em hard, they love it.
