If no oil is apparently leaking, then check for oil in the air filter
housing (Coming from the breather). If so it may indicate a breather
problem or worn piston rings AND GROOVES. The ring grooves wear in high
mileage VW/Audi motors which causes no problems at low speed but at
highway cruise causes large amounts of oil to be blown out the breather.
Even replacing rings will not cure the problem.
