Let harden and scape off very carefully (not scratching the leather!).  Then
use Lexol pH leather cleaner to get out what is ground into the leather.
Scrub hard if needed, it won't hurt it.  Follow up with the Conditioner.
Leather should good as new.

I just got back from a week long camping trip and my interior was trashed.
A good cleaning and it's all as good as new!
