I don't know 'cause I've never owned an auto.  My stock 87 5KCSTQ would do
132+ at about 5k rpm.  The 89 200 TQ, also stock,  will only do about 125
mph at 5100 rpm but it needs injectors and may have some sort of fuel
metering problem.

I suspect you're being limited by your gear ratios with the slushbox.
