RE: high rpm @ h-way speed



Mine's the same way - I think they all are. 75 actual is about 83 indicated.
No wonder we all think the type 44 cars are so fast - 140 indicated is
probably only about 128 actual. 
No excuse for a speeding ticket - right?

I'm beginning to think it  is.  Mine is the same way.

The error seems to increase at higher speeds.  When I bought the car it 195
60 tires on it.  I thought when I changed these to the OEM 205 60 size the
error would disappear...wrongo!  Speedo is still off.

I never attempted to fix it, just lived with it.
