Re: Subject: Temp Warning Light
When coolant expansion tanks get old (10-15 yrs) and really dirty looking it
is best to replace it. I HIGHLY reccomend it as I had the bottom of one
break at the hose connection on my 5KTQ and spill coolant everywhere.
New expansion tank is only $35 from the dealer, and probably cheaper
elsewhere.
Also helps to be able to see your coolant level. Getting hard on mine. I
think I am going to replace it this week when I flush and add new coolant.
