RE: '90 V8 Cat Converter
I had a similar worry on my car ... but it turned out to be that the probe
that lights the CAT light had become loose in the back of one of the cats
... a couple seconds with the proper wrench and all was good as new.
All that said, don't expect that your cat cannot fail without also lighting
that lamp!
