Hot driver feet
Ok, I'm a whiner. I'm sorry, but my feet are hot! The climate controlled AC
on my 87 5kcstq works superbly when the outside temperature is more than 7
or 8 degrees above the AC set point. Ye olde blast of cold air comes through
the proper vents and cooleth my face and upper torso. Also, when the outside
temperature is quite cold, ye olde blast comes through the appropriate
orifices and my feet are toasty warm.
Unfortunately, when the ambient temperature is near the setpoint, cooled air
issues forth from the face coolers, and HOT air also dribbles (not a lot,
but enough) on my feet, making them, well, hot. You should note that there
is absolutely NO hot air coming from the foot outlets when the ambient
temperature is well above the setpoint. I assumed the problem was a faulty
heater control actuator, but this rather rules that out, what?
Ideas?
