Open the trunk, unscrew the plastic panel that covers the trunk lock and find 
the green plastic tube that provides the pressure/vaccum that makes it 
lock/unlock with with power door locks.  Unhook the tube (conveniently, there 
is a rubber splice nearby) and blow a bit of compressed air in it ... should 
pop all the locks with just a brief squirt.

I had to do this once on a girlfriend's '90 200 shortly after she'd bought it 
(and before I'd gotten around to fixing the broken door locks!) after this 
happened to us one night at dinner.  Fortunately, there was an office supply 
store in the same shopping center and I was able to buy a can of "Dust-Off" 
for $6.95 and it worked just fine ...and since I am also a photography buff, 
the money wasn't wasted since I could use the rest of the can blowing dust 
off negs.
