WOT switch question

Dear listers,
I installed a new WOT swich on my 89 200tq today and then tested it
(doh- forgot to do that first).  Anyway, the idle portion tested fine,
but the full throttle did not.  After removing the switch, I tested
again and the full throttle portion works fine.  From what I can tell,
the throttle isn't moving enough to actuate the full throttle part of
the switch.  Any ideas what could be causing this?  

Also, where should the throtle plate adjustment screw (the one right
over the throttle body that you aren't supposed to ajust) be set?  Full
clockwise (in)?
