Re: 1.8T /TT Motor differences



my recollection from a source that i cannot recollect is that the 180 is
software (chip) only just like everybody else does, but that to get to 225 Audi
made some structural changes, which i want to say are bearings and pistons, and
tighter mfg. tolerances.  all hearsay, so interested in corrections or
confirmations.   hadn't heard anything about either dual IC's or lower
compression before either.
