Yes you are right, it was supposed to say:

What you do with your car is your responsibility.  It was a typo.

I hope it is understood by all that this list is used in a manner that 
we are trying to help each other, and shouldn't need disclaimers.

Perhaps a general disclaimer on the heading of the list would help 
avoid a big WOB.
