Probably just the WOT switch doing what it's supposed to do--namely cutting
off the AC compressor when you push the accelerator to the floor.  When you
let off, does it get cold again?

Thanks, Kurt for the info. Seems the WOT works well in this car. Testing
shows it increases idle when depressed. Was unaware of the A/C cutoff, but
had a sneaking suspicion. Wouldn't have learned this from my 4K cus its WOT
is probably shot (no effect on idle when depressed).
