A 1/99 issue of Auto Motor und Sport had an article on new Audis (TT, A6 V8, 
A8 lang (slightly lengthened A8, so far built only once for the German
Chancellor 
- "Fahren wie Schroeder" - to be put into production soon), etc.) and mentioned 
that one goal (by June, maybe?) was to get the S4 "engine problems" (no more 
detail, IIRC) straightened out so that more than the current trickle of cars
could 
be delivered. (I think there was also an S4 first registered in 10/98 in the 
classifieds.)

So I guess there are no new troubles, but it's taking longer than expected to
fix 
existing ones?
