Wow yours runs cool!  My 96 A4 2.8q oil temp reads somewhere in the
neighorbood of 230F-250F depending on ambient temperature and how hard
I am driving.  The coolant temp, on the other hand is always rock steady
on the "middle" mark once warmed up.
