It makes a great rally car and a fast street car but it drives like a tin can.
There is more tuning parts, but they are not readily available and cost allot.
It is far less reliable and is more difficult to repair than any Audi. It is
far from appliance reliability. To me the only advantage is in its ability as
rally car. Here is the only place where it is substantially better. This has
nothing to do with the car itself but with the extensive development it
undergone. It is a generation ahead in design as well. It is closer to Lancer
Evo with its Visco center diff. In street use T*rsen may be better but in
rally visco rules. It is only inferior to active diffs. Construction quality
is defiantly not there. Changing head gasket is a nightmare.
I can tell you more about it than you will ever care to know, but not on this
list.
