Axles Again
I was told about a month ago that I needed new CV's. I decided I would
get new axles once I had the cash. Yet it has been a month of hard
driving, long drives, short drives, tight circles in parking lots to check
the cv's for clicking, but I still hear absolutly nothing. Could I be
getting the run-around by my mechanic? Or does it take time for the CV's
to start making clicking noises? Also how can a mechanic tell me the CV's
are worn without hearing a clicking noise or taking the axle out and
checking by eye? Cause he didn't check them by taking the axle out, nor
do they make noise. The boots are cracked, but none are ripped. He said
they are worn and need replacement, how would he know? Thanks again again
again... I have many concerns with my car it seems, thanks for all the
help on all twenty million questions I send out.
