Cam Follower Depressor - need help
Can anyone out there help me? I bought a Hazet PN 2574
on the recomendation of another lister to depress the
cam followers on my UrQ so I could remove the
adjusting shims. It doesn't seem to fit at all. I
consulted the Bentley and discovered that it listed PN
2078 for this job, but not specific to UrQs I assume.
They both look the same, is there a difference? The
2078 tool is made by Matra and is listed by Zelena as
working on V8s and 100s. Any help appreciated.
My valves were quite off. My intakes (I assume the
first valve closest to the front of the car is an
intake valve) were all at 0.25mm warm which was fine.
My exhausts were also all at 0.25 and they should be
between 0.4 and 0.5mm. I had better fix these asap.
