Checking out for a bit

Well, the folks at the corner shop have finished installing the new A/C
compressor, clutch, and a full charge of refrigerant in my '83 CGT
(MAC), so we must be ready for a road trip!  I'm taking off in a day or
two for a little relaxation on the central California coast, so I'll be
signing off the q-list for a week.  My wife says the car is now VERY
cold inside, which will come in handy as we pass through the Salinas
Valley and Paso Robles.  And as a long-time Californian, I echo
somebody's comments that we don't care about seat heaters, but a seat
COOLER might be something I'd pay extra for...
