RE: S4/New S6/A8 in AutoWeek

I have a copy of brochure titled "Inside Audi" talking about the new S4 and
A6 models. It looks like the A6 2.7T is the S6 you're looking for.  THe
performance figures from this Audi Publication are 0 to 100 km/h in 4.7
seconds with the 1/4 mile in 14.7 seconds - no terminal speed indicated.
The top speed is "Limited" to 209kph for North America.

4.7 seconds in a family sedan!!!!!!!!

Um, maybee engine is the same, but tuning is supposedly different.  The S6
numbers I've heard are 0-60 in 4.7 seconds for the manual and 4.9 for the
auto.  FAST!!!!!  Wow.  The S4 is a meager 5.9 for the manual and 6.5 for
the automatic.  Can you confirm this Michael???  Any Audi material on the S6
yet????
