87 4K Quattro CS - Oil light and buzzer keep going off

I was hoping someone out there could give me some insight into why my oil 
light and buzzer keep going off. They go on every once and awhile, and 
usually they only stay on for a second or two.

The oil level is fine, the temperature is fine, but the oil on the 
dipstick seems to be filled with little bubbles.  

At first I thought it was a short, but after doing some research I found 
out that the oil light might be going off because of a bad oil pump.  If 
this is the case shouldn't my temperature be going up?  How can I 
determine what is happening?  

Any help would be much appreciated.
