Something to do...



If you're looking for something to do on yer older Audi, but don't have
the time to really get into it, consider removing some of those old
rusty fasteners, lubing them and reinstalling. On a car like mine that
spend its life in the salt belt, its a lifesaver.
For instance, I'm going to be pulling the front bumper cover off in the
future to install the JC air dam and poke around the alternator, replace
some hoses, etc. This morning I sprayed the allen bolts and phillips
fasteners down with penetrant, let it sit while changing the oil, and
then removed, lubed them, and reinstalled. Now I know in advance it'll
be a pleasure removing that bumper cover instead of a pain in the neck.
