RE: Thanks & More ??'s about 200 TQ
About the AC, my '89 200tq had the same problem. I spent hours trying to
fix it. In the end, I found out it was the pressure cut-off switch. I
simply unplugged the switch, and the AC came right on! I've been running
the AC with the switch unplugged for a while now. It doesn't seem to hurt
anything, although I will eventually replace it as a precaution. If that
isn't the problem, try jumping the compressor to the battery and see if the
clutch engages.
About that pearl white paint, it probably is original. My car is also
pearl white, and I have found that the paint is indestructible. Even after
10 years of harsh PA winters and very hot summers, the paint is still
immaculate, and rust will never be an issue! Just my .02
