You would have to jumper the low pressure cutout up next to the blower, or
supply a sep power source to the clutch. Better to take it to a shop -
they'll charge you 25-50.00 to check it out.

Most likely a sensor - if the pressure guage shows 4.5 bar at cold start,
1.5-2.0 at hot idle, you're fine

Shut it off and pump the brakes. less than 10 it goes hard - you need a new
bomb.

They're normal. Any history with the car? You can take the VIN to any Audi
dealer and get a printout of any and all Audi service done on the vehicle.
With the age of the car, and assuming nothing major replaced over the
years, you will be due for all hydraulic hoses to be replaced, and all
vacuum/rubber hoses within the year. Possibly radiator replacement and
steering rack. Have the brakes bled professionally immediately upon buying
it. You'll likely need to replace the aux cooling pump too. If no history
is available, replace the timing belt, idler, and water pump immediately.
An expensive replacement on the Nippondenso AC compressor is the manifold
that bolts to the side of the compressor - outboard drivers side. This
puppy costs 380.00 new and is nigh impossible to find used. Also
unrepairable. Look for oil/dirt buildup at the front seam. Remove the cover
in from of the radiator and look over all connections on the front hoses -
if you seem oil/dirt at any of them, that's where your leak is. The other
check point is under the plastic cover, passenger side.
