ahh.  got it. effect is pretty much the same of course.

yeah, and this is pretty cool.  in fact, if i was a digest subscriber... i wouldn't
be a digest subscriber.  i'd use this instead, makes a nice 'browse thread' interface
without having to download every post.

ok, cool.  we hadn't heard (that i recall) anything about those infrastructure
details so i was curious if any other unix geeks knew something....  sorry for
asking, didn't mean any offense...

thanks for the background on where the archives are at and where they are going.
