1987 5KTQ, USA, PS, no self leveling

Front:

Toe: for 14" and 15" wheels: +5', tolerances +5', -10'

max difference at 20 degrees lock to left and right: -1 degree 40', +/-30'

Camber, wheels straight ahead: -30 degrees +/-30'

max difference between right and left: 30'

Caster not adjustable, +1 degree +/-40'

max difference between right and left: 1 degree

Rear:

Camber: -15' +/- 15', max difference between R & L 30'

Toe angle at each wheel (camber set first to specs) +5' +/-5'

Total toe: +10' +/- 10'

Note that these settings DO NOT agree with Haynes (which is not a reliable
source anyway) and you are well advised to keep looking and check multiple
sources. Problem is that each Audi model is slightly different, and there
are differences in the same model depending on which country it is destined
for, and whether it has self-leveling suspension and power steering or not
. . . and of course, to the monkey lads at the alignment place, all Audis
are the same. Get the specs for YOUR specific model/year/country!!!!

Looks like that may change - I'll probably be doing the HTML on some of the
type 44 FAQs. We'll see.

These DO come from overseas - I import them. $200CDN is a GIFT - I get $400
US for a full set of two headlights plus two corner lights - you must use
the euro corner lights with the euro headlights - the USA/DOT corner lights
look the same but the mountings are different and they fall off (at $65
each, dealer price!)

I'm not sure he really can get them "whenever" - he may be unpleasantly
surprised if he tries. Remember that "Oh, yeah, we can get that!" is the
standard parts store mantra, followed by "Just give us a 100% deposit!" and
then wait. Hopefully, he's different than most . . .
