Re: Getting close to a new q quick dumb question

Prior to 95 the 90 Q's were the CS quattros with just about every option
available to the 90 series as standard equipment. In 95 they made everything
in the 90 series optional. You could even get a base car, cloth interior, no
sunroof with the quattro addition. A sport quattro in 95 had sport seats
with fabric upholsery, a gauge cluster above the ash tray, power sunroof and
a somewhat more lively suspension. Remote locks, power seats and leather were
options.

Most important on these cars is the subject of oil consumption. We/ve had
half a dozen cars that used oil at the rate of a qt per 500 or 800 miles.
Audi says this is not a problem. My customers and I don't agree. So, it would
be prudent to know from the former owner what the story, on the car you want
to buy,

Also a bad cat converter particulary on the left side is common to rattle as
a result of the element coming loose inside the case. The could be a result
of oil going through or just came apart on its own. Cats are warranted for 8
yrs or 80 k miles from in service date for 95 cars.

We just sold a two '95 90 Sport Q's Pearl white/ black leather one with 54k
for $15900 and the other with 35k miles and a flawless car for $17500.

Hope this helps
