rear susp noise

steve i didn't see any response mentioning this but, btdt...on my 86 5kcdtq
and on  others...the noise, which sounds like the springs and their mounts
or some associated part, can actually be the small spring that holds the
rear axle proportioning valve. in my case even backing down the driveway
sounded as though the car had a major problem. a dollop of grease on both
ends of the prop valve spring solved the problem
