no reports from any listers who went to this years event????

apparently the audi display was stunning.  it consisted of a replica
streamliner (the 197mph record car) bolted to the top left corner of a near
vertical display in stainless steel, about 3 stories high, which simulated
the avuus banking, with the "road" being made out of stainless pipe.  to the
bottom right corner was bolted the avuus show car.  absoutely stunning
according to autosport.

also wowing the crowds was the audi imsa gto car, which i think also
attempted the hillclimb.  michele mouton was there in the group b s1
although, once again, it was plauged by a misfire, so she couldn't really
defend her awd hillclimb record from richard burns and colin mcrae in modern
wrc machinery.
