Re: 5K Boost at 7000'



I read somewhere Audi didn't have safety systems in place on the turbo until
later years.  Like maybe '91.  Maybe earlier since I believe you drive an
'89.   It was also noted anyone running a heavier wastegate spring ( 1.8 bar
) with ECU upgrades at high elevations could overrrev the turbo.   Anyway,
it felt great smoking people up those 4 lane passes.
