It should work.. Just like many motor oils like SAE 20, SAE 30 and so
on are superseded by t.ex SAE 20W-40, gear oil marked with SAE 75, SAE
80, SAE 90 and so on are superseded by SAE 75W-90.

The thing that matters, is the GL-5..

P.S: I'm not sure about this, but I think I've heard it somewhere.
