My HOT HOT Quat
The single UrQ radiator conversion just doesn't cut it
on a hot day in Colorado. If I just let it do it's
thing in traffic, it runs right up to the end of the
stock coupes coolant temp gauge. This is only a hair
from an overheat condition. Same thing happens with
the AC on when I'm in heavy traffic. I have to resort
to pulling the AC clutch relay and letting the
hi-speed rad fan cool her down again. The motor will
certainly overheat when I push it hard up some of the
longer mountain passes without the AC fan.
Anyone have any BTDT's on UrQ cooling. I WANT
continuous "middle of the gauge" cooling. Am I stuck
buying the Dyalinx massive aluminum radiatior? Any
help appreciated. PS, every single piece of the
cooling system is less than 1 year old, including the
core.
