? on webpage setup

I know this is not on subject, but hey where else can I find such a variety 
of people with an abundace of knowledg in one place.  I am trying to find out 
if anyone out there knows how to set up a webpage.  I was just placed in 
charge or re-developing the webpage for Auburn's ASCE organization.  It is 
not something I would have chosen, but if you don't attend an officer's 
meeting, you always get assigned the jobs no one else wishes to do(just wish 
I had some experience with this).  
Any help or info on this subject
