a 4000/80 QUESTION

I have a '87 4000csq.  Can anyone advise me if it has a European counterpart
(bodywise)?  I left Europe before the time cars and driving tempted me and had a
vague idea about them at the time.  Just coming back from a visit I don't recall
seeing anything like my 4000quattro.  The 80's could be related but are they?

I am asking, because a friend offered me some "very cool" spoilers for above the
headlights that he said he could get me real cheap (from a tuning place in
Bulgaria) but I still don't know what to tell him for they haven't heard of a
4000 model there.
