You did say whether the failure was in the form of blockage or internal
break-up or external cracking. Blockage is caused by improper running (fuel
mixture, incomplete combustion, etc.) or fuel type, quality, additives (sold
in the fuel or added later). Breakage, either internal or external, is
caused by impact or vibration (improper mounting, exhaust support, etc.).
Did they fail in a similar manner? Could be the car.
