A/C repair
I just picked up the CGT from getting the a/c repaired. Needed a new
receiver/dryer. It required 2 pounds of Freon to recharge. Total bill
was $172, $70 of which was for Freon at $35/ pound.
Six years ago it needed a receiver/dryer. I guess until the compressor
blows up, I'll stick with Freon. My mechanic has done a Sanden
conversion or two, so I'll probably go with that then.
Thanks to all who responded with the error code translation for the V8q.
I found a torn breather hose, which I patched, but it appears that isn't
the problem since it's running exactly the same. New part is on order,
but I'm pretty sure I still have another problem. I'll pull the codes
again but I'll bet I get the same code.
