I don't know the total subscription to Dan's services, but I've seen a
figure of something like 1,800 to 2,000 participants.

There are several options regarding the application of the image:  Besides
decals, there are self-adhesive metal and plastic stickers on the market.
I get promotional materials occasionally from a couple of companies making
the stick-on stuff.  

I was thinking of a design that  had something like "quattro@audifans.com"
in small lettering bent into the shape of a Q.  Black on a white background
like most of the European country designations we see here in the US.  A
decal, of course, would require both a dark color for light-hued cars and a
light color for darker paints.
